The fight to retain Ford Kenya as party leader may be over for Moses Wetangula who has maintained that he is still the party leader despite outer by Eseli Simiyu group.
This is after Wafula Wamunyinyi who was made party leader after the ouster met with ODM chief Raila Odinga on Saturday at Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya home in Butere.
Insiders within the meeting which lasted for hours say the three leaders discusses various issue including Ford Kenya leadership.
“I am privileged to host former Prime Minister and Party Leader Rt Hon @RailaOdinga at my Mabole home in Butere.
Baba landed here a short while ago and I will have dinner with him before we have a consultative meeting to discuss issues of national importance.” Wrote Oparanya.
The meeting comes at a time that various leaders opposition Wamunyinyi leadership linked Raila Odinga to the outer of Wetangula saying it was a plan to destabilize the co NASA principal.
The decision to ouster Wetangula came after Eseli Simiyi and Wafula Wamunyinyi met COTU secretary general Francis Atwoli at his home in Kajiado. Atwoli is a big supporter of Raila Odinga’s presidency.
