Ruto Wins Another Ally, Mudavadi Gets North Eastern Backing While Raila Makes Inroads in Rift Valley

Deputy President William Ruto has challenged the political class to engage in constructive political discussions as they try to win support from Kenyans.

Ruto said this after meeting the deputy governor of Kisii county Joash Maangi, MP Sylvanus Osoro, and various MCAs at his Karen residence.

“I engagement with Kenyans should be based on development track-record and a deliberate plan to create jobs, boost food production, and the revival of the economy. Political support cannot be achieved through threats, coercion, and intimidation but through persuasion.” Wrote Ruto

On the same day, ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi met with various youth leaders from the northeastern region who have pledged to support his presidential candidature.
