A huge contingent of police officers camped at Kapseret Member of parliament Oscar Sufi to arrest him on Friday night.
According to the Elgeiyo Marakwet senator Kipchumba Murkomen, the contingent was made up of 20 police officers drawn from various police departments.
“When did Oscar Sudi qualify to have twenty police stations guarding his home? Na alinishinda wapi ?” Wrote Murkomen.
Reports indicated that residents of Kapseret blocked the way to Sudi’s home to prevent the officers from arresting the vocal politician.
Sudi is wanted by police in connection to making statements that are considered to be of hate speech.
Reports indicate Sudi has not been arrested yet despite police camping at his home the whole night
