ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi has urged Kenyans to join him in the quest to restore the economy of Kenya criticizing Deputy president style of winning supporters as ineffective way to provide a solution to the challenges facing Kenya and Kenyans.
The former minister for finance was speaking on Wednesday at Friends International Center Church, Ngong in Nairobi where he met representatives of the Quakers church. He challenged Kenyans to avoid politics of tokens at the expense of politics that will devise ways to revive the economy.
Mudavadi asks “Beyond the incentives, what next? There is need for a lasting solution.”
He also commended on the increasing disunity in the ruling Jubilee government. He criticized Dp Ruto for missing out on the Covid19 Conference that was held on Monday at the KICC instead he chose to distribute wheelbarrows.
. “While the Head of State was presiding over an important national event at KICC —his deputy was busy distributing wheelbarrows.” He said.
The former vice president is among Kenyans who have expressed interest in replacing president Uhuru Kenyatta in 2022.
